Geritrex Corp. located in Mt Vernon NY is a leading manufacturer of branded generic OTC Healthcare products providing cost effective solutions for skin,wound and personal care since 1978.

Responsibilities include:
1.Monitor packaging lines hourly and perform in process checks.
2.Perform final product testing and batch record review.
3.Confirm de-ionized water purity via conductivity testing.
4.Knowledgeable in utilizing scales,pH meter,penetrometer,brookfiel viscometer,melting point apparatus,balancing incubator , HPLC and Spectrophotometer a plus.
5.Participate in the preparation of samples for microbial testing
6.Inspect incoming components and raw material.
7.Maintain and record test results and experimental data.
8.Process returns.
9.Provide support and assistance to Quality Unit Manager.
10.Conduct research projects as needed.
11.additional duties as required.
The successful candidate should be a professional with a minimum 2 years of college required. A BS in Biology or Chemistry is preferable.Good computer skills,proficient in oral and written communication.Prior experience in pharmaceutical or cosmetic field desireable. Knowledgeable in cGMP.
